The Weather Monitor II is a powerful computer weather station with all our most-requested features. Monitor wind speed, direction and wind chill. Track the barometric trend along with inside humidity and inside and outside temperature. With the complete station, you'll also get dew point and daily and accumulated rainfall.
Station includes anemometer with 40' (12 m) cable and external temperature sensor with 25' (7.5 m) cable. Cables are connected to the console through a junction box with 8' (2.4 m) of cable. Console includes AC-power adapter with battery backup (battery not included). Backlit display for easy viewing.
In 2001, the National Weather Service adopted a new standard for calculating wind chill. This station uses the older standard in place prior to that date. For the newer formula, see our Vantage Pro line of weather stations or add our WeatherLink datalogger and software package. WeatherLink calculates and displays windchill using the newer formula, no matter which weather station you have.
Available in three versions:
- US (United States): US version uses US radio frequency from 902 to 928 MHz (on units equipped with wireless transmission) and a 0.01" rain collector. Station reports in US standard units. Includes US power adapter.
- UK (United Kingdom) UK version uses UK radio frequency 868 MHz (on units equipped with wireless transmission) and a 0.2mm rain collector. Station reports in Metric units. Includes UK power adapter. Not available for use/purchase within the US.
- EU (Europe) EU version uses EU radio frequency 868 MHz (on units equipped with wireless transmission) and a 0.2mm rain collector. Station reports in Metric units. Includes Euro power adapter. Not available for use/purchase within the US.
