Davis Weather Stations For Ham Radio Operators

The Ham Radio Operator's Dream Weather System:

Ham radio operators provide some of the most valuable weather and emergency information out there. Even when the weather is fine, ham radio operators provide weather data that lets the NOAA monitor and predict weather trends with ever-increasing accuracy.

Which station and accessories do you need? The Vantage Pro2 Plus will provide plenty of information, including forecasts, rain history, wind speed and direction, high and low temperatures, as well as data on UV and solar radiation.

Add WeatherLink for APRS with Streaming Data Logger, which was designed specifically for ham radio operators, including storm chasers and volunteer weather watchers. Includes all of WeatherLink's basic features of data storage and transfer, expanded reporting, but also allows you to connect your station to your ham radio via a TNC modem for instant transmission of both your location and weather data via APRS. Streaming data logger provides a continuous stream of data to your ham radio. Use it to participate in the CWOP (Citizen Weather Observer Program).

You can mount your station with our Mounting Tripod.

Adding the Anemometer Transmitter Kit allows you to mount your anemometer atop your transmission tower (up to 1000' from the Vantage Pro2 console) for the most accurate wind readings, while keeping your rain collector and other sensors more easily accessible.

And remember, during extreme weather conditions, don't leave the storm cellar without your Davis cap!
