DriveRight® Download Options
Five download options make transferring data to your PC quick and easy.
- Our new Wireless Download System will transmit data directly to your PC when the vehicle is within 600 feet of the base station.
- A download cable, included with the software, lets you download directly from the console to your PC.
- Smart Card System uses data storage on cards to simplify administrative tasks, automatically identify drivers, and download data.
- Palm Download Kit allows you to download data into a Palm.
- Remote Download Kit for data transfer via a modem.
The DriveRight Wireless Download System
Take all the trouble out of downloading driving data to your company PC. With the Wireless Download System, drivers just pull into your parking lot and their data is sent automatically to the PC. Drivers don't have to do anything or carry anything in the vehicle - it's that simple.
Create a complete system using:
One Wireless On-Board Module for each vehicle
One GPS/Wireless Interface Module for each vehicle.
Enough Base Stations to cover the parking area
One Configuration Cable for the entire fleet
The DriveRight® SmartCard System
This system provides extra security and convenience. Use it
to authenticate driver identity, download driving data, and simplify
adminstrative tasks. Consists of four parts:
SmartCard
for each driver. Available in packs of ten, the SmartCard can
be worn on a lanyard, clipped to a belt, or carried in a wallet.
An On-Board
Reader for each vehicle. The Reader is connected to the
DriveRight 600E console in the vehicle.
An optional
Starter Interrupter Kit
for each vehicle, to ensure that it can only be started by designated
drivers only.
A Desktop
Reader connected to a PC back at the office, to be used
in conjunction with the Fleet Management Software.
To use the system,
the driver simply inserts his SmartCard into the On-Board Reader
before starting the vehicle. The driver's ID will automatically
be relayed to the console for authentication. At the end of the
trip, driver simply presses a button, and his driving data is automatically
downloaded onto the SmartCard.
Back at the
office, fleet managers can quickly and easily download the data
into their PCs using the Desktop Reader. They can also create administrative
SmartCards to apply limits, thresholds, and authorizations to the
DriveRight consoles—all without ever removing them from the
vehicles.
Palm Download Kit
With the Palm Download Kit, you can transfer your data from a DriveRight console to a Palm via an interface cable. No need to remove the console from the vehicle.
Remote Download Kit
The Remote Download Kit allows drivers to download data remotely by connecting the DriveRight console directly to an external modem. When the modem dials into a computer running Fleet Management Software in a special hosting mode, the data will be transferred automatically.
