Discontinued Models

Our original versions of CarChip worked with serial ports only. They have been replaced by USB versions. On this page, you may access information (such as instruction manuals) about the older, discontinued (serial port) models.

CarChip Pro (#8226) replaces:
• 8211 CarChip USB Port
• 8210 CarChip Serial Port
• 8221 CarChipE/X USB
• 8220 CarChipE/X Serial Port

CarChip Fleet Pro (#8246) replaces:
• 8241 CarChip Fleet USB
• 8240 CarChip Fleet Serial Port

CarChip fits most 1996 and later foreign and domestic vehicles. However, there are a few vehicles in which CarChip does not function properly, and there are others in which CarChip may interfere with the normal operation of the vehicle. Please review the list of known CarChip Vehicle Conflicts and Exclusions before purchasing or using CarChip.
